Ottawa's cultural landspe has evolved signifintly over the last 20 years. Back in the early 90s, David and I had to make the two-hour drive to Montreal whenever we craved our comfort foods from El Salvador—that's where the closest pupuserias were loted!
We opened La ba?a in Ottawa in May 1996. While we felt some pride in establishing Ottawa's first Salvadoran eatery, we are even happier that we n provide a taste of El Salvador to our fellow Ottawans. Come by for a couple of pupusas...or five! You won't be disappointed!
